Pilgrim  Geese are my favorite breed of geese. They are calm, almost friendly having distinct personalities. The females are very good mothers & almost fearless. They will willing adopt any gosling that does not have a mother, & will even adopt ducklings occasionally if no goslings are present. One amazing thing about them is that they are auto-sexing. Meaning that you can tell the males from the females as soon as they hatch by color. The females hatch a greyish color & feather grey with a little white around they eyes occasionally. The males hatch smoky yellow & feather white with occasional small patches of grey.
